She defeated Thailand's Pornpicha Choeikeewong 21-17, 23-21 in the Round of 32, and overcame Malaysia's Goh Jin Wei in a thrilling three-set match 10-21, 21-10, 21-17 to reach the quarterfinals. Despite her strong results, Chaliha did not hide her concerns about the playing environment. According to her, the air at the venue appeared hazy, possibly due to smoke or pollution. This issue becomes even more pressing when compared to larger tournaments hosted in India, where court conditions and overall venue standards are significantly better. Chaliha emphasized that Super 100 events deserve more attention to safety standards, as athletes everywhere deserve a healthy and safe competitive environment. Previously, at the India Open Super 750, several Danish players complained about hygiene and cold air conditions at the venue. However, this time the concern came from an Indian player at a lower-tier event, highlighting growing awareness of athlete welfare within the global badminton community. As of now, the BWF has not issued an official statement regarding the issue.
